  • "I have practiced Pilates for over 30 years. When I first discovered this was an exercise I could do laying down (at least some of the time), I knew it was for me. At the time there were only two Pilates studios in Los Angeles. Over the years I have had many teachers. I started working with Julie about 18 months ago. She is the only teacher I have ever had with this incredible knowledge of the body. She is trained not only in Pilates but also has a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Several months ago I injured my knee in Israel while going over uneven ground and climbing many uneven stone stairs. The ortho I saw wanted to perform surgery, but I wanted to see if Pilates could help first. I started with a walker and was able to progress to a cane and brace. It has been a long recovery but due to Julie's amazing work with me, I do not require surgery and at 75 am quite healthy and able to travel and be very active. I recommend her to anyone interested in just improving general physical strength and flexibility, or in need of rehab from an injury."
